Registered Florida Private School
A Florida-registered private school providing academic records, transcripts, and diplomas.
What does 'Registered Florida Private School' mean?
Midsea Learning Academy is a Florida private school registered with the Florida Division of Corporations. Florida private schools operate under Florida private school law and file an annual private school survey with the Florida Department of Education — this survey is what makes a school officially recognized as a Florida private school, not a state "approval."
Florida does not "approve" or "accredit" private schools through the FLDOE. What matters is that we are legally registered, file the required annual survey, and operate under Florida law — which means the academic records, transcripts, and diplomas we issue are from a real, registered Florida private school.
This is the legal basis for the official documents your child earns with Midsea. When you apply to colleges, transfer to other schools, or need documents apostilled for international use, Midsea's status as a registered Florida private school is what makes those documents official.
We file the required annual private school information survey with the Florida Department of Education, maintaining our status as a registered Florida private school.
Our high school diplomas are issued by a Florida-registered private school — the same legal standing as any other Florida private school diploma.
Official transcripts from Midsea are accepted by colleges, universities, and other schools across the United States and, with apostille, internationally.
Our graduation requirements align with Florida's standard high-school framework (24 credits), ensuring our diplomas reflect a real, structured educational pathway.
"Homeschool doesn't have to be invisible — or unofficial."
